This field is private property and should only be used in conjunction with a scheduled club launch
The location is Creekside Farms at 1669 Old Alabama Road SW, in Taylorsville, GA.
There are EXTREMELY IMPORTANT RESTRICTIONS on recovery that, if violated, will get you banned from SoAR AND possibly from clubs across the Southeast. That is how important this is.
- If a rocket lands off the property on the sod farm to the south, access the sod farm by foot traffic only, and only during launch activities.
- If a rocket land off the property to the north, come to the launch area and find the field liaison, who will help you retrieve your rocket.
- From April to October, corn is planted on a large part of the field. A rocket landing in the corn should be considered LOST FOREVER*. During months when the corn has been harvested (November to March), that area is fair recovery area. This is when the field will operate as a high power field.
