SoAR has made arrangements to participate in the December 3^rd Toys for Tots Air Show hosted by Georgia Model Aviators (GMA) at their flying field near Ballground GA. SoAR will be setting up a static display area to include Everett’s Saturn V and will be launching a few rockets along with the Creekview TARC team as part of an afternoon of model aviation events. The show will be attended by local news media and is expected to draw thousands of spectators. Each attendee will be required to bring a toy for Toys for Tots to gain admission. Although there will be no anticipated opportunity for SoAR members to launch their rockets (other than those prearranged) you are encouraged to attend as a spectator and SoAR ambassador. It will be an amazing show for general aviation enthusiasts. Bring a toy!
